Awarded Contract to Rosti Nederland
from Heineken, a large European Beverage Producer
Rosti Nederland has won a contract from Heineken to produce injection moulded parts and assembling the complete top fitting of ring and tap parts for their Draughtkeg, an innovative Draught beer system aimed at the consumer market and in-home dispensing.
The final assembly consists of 6 injection moulded parts produced by high cavity moulds of which one is a state to the art stack mould, and a blister to pack the tap parts.
The stack mould is produced in Germany and a brand new 500T Engel machine has been invested for the production of this tool. Engel claims this is the fastest machine in the world. The remaining moulds are produced in the Netherlands. The assembly equipment is made in Belgium. Production start-up is planned 1st quarter 2009.
