Rosti Suzhou Charity Donation

Employees of Rosti Suzhou raise money for local Nursery School

This summer David Knight, COO, Pat Williams, Deputy Managing Director of Rosti Suzhou, Helen Yao, HR Director and the employee representatives visited the children in the Suzhou Industrial Park Nursery School.

Last November, the employees of Rosti Suzhou raised and donated RMB 20,000 for the first time to the Nursery School. The money was used to purchase some barrier free facilities and equipment. In the beginning of this year, we had another collection of over RMB 40,000 to help the school. Taking the opportunity of this visit, we donated half the amount of the collection money to build a wheelchair ramp for the children at the School Gate. The rest of the money will be donated to this School in batches later.

The Rosti delegation had a good time together with the disabled children. They were glad to find that more teachers and volunteers are now involved in helping the children since the last visit.

Rosti Suzhou and its employees have been involved in all kinds of charity activities since its opening. In the past year, Rosti Suzhou donated about RMB 60,000 to different charity organizations.
