Managing Director &8211; Rosti Polska

Mr Jan Duniec will join Rosti as Managing Director with effect from 2nd October.

Rosti Polska has achieved some remarkable growth in sales and activities over the last 2 to 3 years. This can be seen by the growth in the sales, and also with a second facility created and up and running in Bialystok, the amount of Bought-Out parts and Bought-out services being successfully processed and the addition of a new paint shop in the last month. We now have in excess of 70 moulding machines ranging from 35 to 1300 tonnes and staff in excess of 900 people in the high season.

We have maintained the development of the organisation, skills and the structure in line with these increases in activities. To continue this process of improvements in organisation, we are happy to announce the appointment of a new Managing Director of the enlarged business.

Mr Jan Duniec will join Rosti as Managing Director with effect from 2nd October. He joins us from Thomson Displays Polska where he was a Plant Manager. Jan is Polish and holds dual Polish/British nationalities as he spent his formative years in the UK finishing with a degree in Physics from the University of Manchester. Jan is 45 and has lived and worked in Poland since 1991. He is married with 2 children.

We are also happy to announce that Mr Wieslaw Plonka will take the role of Operation Director with immediate effect responsible for all day to day operations involving, moulding, assembly, painting, maintenance and personnel for both Rosti 1 and Rosti 2.

We wish both gentlemen success in their new roles, and we take this opportunity to thank Wieslaw Plonka for his achievement in bringing this business from its beginning in 1998 to its present size and performance capabilities.
