Suzhou Alpha &8211; Update August 2006

Development in sales leads to expansion of Suzhou Alpha which is to open by January 2007.

Between January and April Rosti Suzhou was awarded three new projects, all from major global customers and with a combined annual sales turnover of $ 20m.

This rapid development of sales has led the Suzhou Management Team to conclude that the new Alpha factory, which is under construction, needs to have at least 30% more manufacturing space than the 10,000 m2 as first planned.

The expansion in floor space will more than double the assembly manufacturing area, space that is much needed for two of the projects mentioned above which both have significant assembly requirements.

The construction of the factory (now 13,000 m2) has begun and will be completed by December 2006. First production is expected before the end of January 2007.
