Rosti, Chennai initiated the ISO certification activity during April 2009.
Management Representative for Chennai, with focus and support from the Suzhou team, took initiative and led from the front to complete all preparatory activities such as completion of Quality Manual, Procedures and Work instructions in one month time.
This followed by rigorous training and continuous review of systems through PDCA approach ensured that the site was ready for external audit by mid of August 2009. During first week of September, the certification agency SGS conducted audit and recommended the site for ISO 9000 certification.
Having successfully completed ISO 9000 certification in a period of less than 6 months, now Rosti, India is working on an aggressive target of obtaining ISO/TS 16949 certification by Jan 2010.
Rosti Chennai will grow its business significantly in Business Machines and Automotive products during 2010. This achievement was a key milestone for Chennai.
