Rosti invests in Plasma Technology

Being a major Contract Manufacturer to the Domestic Appliances and White Goods Markets, Rosti continues to make investments in technology advancements to meet the ever increasing requirements for High-End products with the main focus on functionality and aesthetic finish.

Rosti Poland has amassed a number of key technologies in Surface Treatments and Decorative Finishes including 2-colour printing line, up to 5 colour tampo printing, IML and laser etching capabilities.

The latest investment is in Plasma Surface Treatment with applications for the White Goods markets and small Domestic Appliances. The Plasma Coating achieves a Hydrophilic layer which in turn achieves

• Good wetability of internal components which come into contact with water.

• Increases the lifetime of the plastic part, with the Plasma layer acting as a barrier against microbes, chemicals & flavours.

Rosti is proud to announce the award of a new project with a world leading White Goods brand which utilises this application with production starting in April 2010 at Rosti’s facility in Poland.
