Rosti India recommended for TS 16949

Rosti’s facility in Chennai India has been recommended for TS 16949; the accreditation for manufacturing in the Automotive market. This comes six months after obtaining the ISO 9000 certificate.

It is quite an important mile stone for Rosti’s latest plant, which started trading in October 2008, as it seeks to grow its Automotive business with both the Tier 1 & OEMs of Chennai & Bangalore.

System Certification was provided by SGS

With this certification the Chennai site has following accreditations:
• UL approved (October 2008)
• ISO 9000 certified (September 2009)
• ISO/TS 16949 certified (March 2010)

Rosti China has already announced the award of 2 contracts from Tier 1 Automotive customers; one in Chennai and one in Bangalore.
