Rosti Poland achieves certifications in Environment and Health & Safety

Apr 09, 2010

After two years of preparations Rosti at its facility in Bialystok Poland, has successfully passed the certification audits to receive a certificate for International Standards of Environment (ISO 14001) and Health & Safety (OHSAS 18001). These are notable additions to the certification for Quality Standards (ISO 9001) and the Automotive Standards (ISO/TS 16949) already held at this facility.

ISO 14001 & OHSAS18001 are two highly valued certifications at Rosti, and very much form part of the medium & long strategy in the Group, as these standards:

• Place high priority on safety and environment in managing the business,
• Continuously minimising the influence on the environment,
• Achieve reduction in personal injuries at the work place.

Mr Jan Duniec, Managing Director of Rosti in Poland commented: “In implementing these standards we aim to achieve a cultural change in the whole organisation. The award of these certificates would not have been possible without great team work and focus from the whole team here in Poland”.

Presentation of the certificates took place in the BSI offices in Warsaw. Managing Director of BSI - Joanna Bieńkowska, Managing Director of Rosti in Poland – Jan Duniec and Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Systems Manager – Joanna Cabanek
