In this current time of economic and financial challenges, customers look ever more towards their supply base to strengthen their competitiveness and performance in finding innovative savings in the costs of logistics, planning, stocking & warehousing. Rosti is committed to integrating the supply chain into the total service offered & supplied for increased responsiveness and cost efficiency whilst simultaneously strengthening Rosti's competitiveness through more streamlined processes and value added services to the customers.

To this end, Rosti has recently conducted Value Stream Mapping (VSM) analysis workshops with two of our customers who themselves are world leaders in cash automation equipment and payment solutions.

Supply Chain representatives from both Rosti and the customers attended a number of 3-day workshops. Focus was on lead time, minimum order quantity and inventory reduction opportunities for selected critical components.

The outcome of these workshops has yielded impressive results to date. A senior representative from one customer wrote: "...I thought the VSM workshop was very useful and well run by the Rosti team. I share your views on the potential benefits to both of our companies by working together as true global partners...".

The value stream mapping is a continuous process and an example of where Rosti adds value by working with customers to find the optimum cost position in the products, projects and services provided.
