Rosti China enters the Medical market

Replicating the successes of Rosti’s European operations, Rosti China raised the bar and entered the Medical Device market which up until has lagged most other industries in outsourcing to China due safety conscious approach of the Medical & Pharmaceutical OEM’s. 

Rosti has been awarded the manufacture of 7 new tools which will be managed by Rosti at its facility in Suzhou China and manufactured by one of the leading European tool makers with facilities also in Suzhou. Rosti will be manufacturing the plastic parts at its state of the art new 100,000 class clean room at the Suzhou facility which boasts 13,000 sq meters of manufacturing, logistics and office space.
 
Start of production is expected in quarter 3 of 2010 and will have achieved ISO13485 accreditation in line with the requirements of this market.
 
Rosti is adding 2 new Sumitomo Electric machines in the range of 100T to 150 T.
 
Rosti China already boasts 43 injection moulding machines, a full ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protected assembly hall, PCB test lab, printing and decoration capabilities and the following accreditations
