A personal message from the CEO

As the new CEO for the RTP Group, I am very happy to announce that the acquisition of the Rosti Technical Plastics Group by Nordstjernan/Stella Plastic today has been completed. For Nordstjernan, this is a very important acquisition and Rosti will be considered a core business within Nordstjernan.

Included in the transaction are the RTP subsidiaries in China, Poland, India, Denmark, Holland, UK and Germany. We have decided not to use the option to acquire the US companies, but instead to concentrate all of our resources on the Asian and European operations. I believe, however, that we will be able to maintain the good cooperation with the US factories, and thus to be able to serve common customers in a good way also in the future.

RTP will now be combined with the present Stella operations. These consist of GP Plastic in Sweden and Germany focusing on food packaging and medical devices, and Tielmans Plastindustri in Sweden with production towards areas like farm equipment, automotive and domestic appliances.

The new combined group will be named Rosti Technical Plastics (RTP) and the head office will be at Rosti’s present office in Ballerup, Copenhagen. The name "Stella Plastic" will later this year disappear.

I am convinced that we are now forming a very strong group within plastic injection moulding and related products and services! I am very pleased with the performance of both RTP and Stella during 2009, and I am confident that we can develop the group further, also considering all the new opportunities that will arise from the combined resources of the two groups.

I would like to wish you all a very warm welcome to the new Rosti Technical Plastics Group. Thank you for the excellent work, and please continue to show the customers that we CARE!

I would also like to thank Stig Hoffmeyer for handing over RTP in a very good shape!
