Rosti Poland pilots Continuous Improvement Academy to upskill their CI team

18 July

The purpose of this recent event was to begin the development of a newly created Rosti Poland CI Team. The team spent five intensive days learning the core tools and principles of continuous improvement in the classroom, followed by practicing what they had learnt in the classroom by applying the tools and techniques on the shop floor, “learn and do”.

On the agenda were topics such as: ‘The Need for Change’;  the differences between traditional companies and Lean companies (and the benefits of being a Lean company), Lean Tools such as 5S, 7 Wastes; Value Stream Mapping;  Standard Work; Layered Process Audits.

Not only did the participants learn about tools and techniques, they also started to learn thinking skills for the application of the lean approach and how the mindset and behaviors are key to the successful implementation of improvement activities.

Well done to a very passionate and engaging team who worked extremely hard over the course of the event!
