Michal Lubik, Managing Director of Rosti Poland, received the award from BCC – a prestigious business club for entrepreneurs. The aim of the contest is to promote companies that run socially responsible business and to spread knowledge about corporate social responsibility and effective methods of communicating about social activities.
For a few years now, the BCC, a prestigious business club for entrepreneurs has been organizing a contest called „Firma Dobrze Widziana“ (A Well-Perceived Company) and we are pleased to announce that Rosti Poland is found among the honoured winners this year.
The grand finale was held on 30th November in the Lubomirski Palace in Warsaw. Apart from the winners, the ceremony was attended by the jury members and people associated with the idea of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Marlena Maląg, the minister of family and social policy, took the honorary patronage of the contest. The laureates were congratulated by: CEO of BCC Marek Goliszewski, vice-president of BCC, CEO Maciej Owczarek and the chairman of the jury Paweł Łukasiak.
The aim of the contest is to promote companies that run socially responsible business and to spread knowledge about corporate social responsibility and effective methods of communicating about social activities. The competition is nationwide. A crucial element, subject to evaluation, is the company’s policy towards employees, including compliance with the principles of equality, tools and internal procedures favouring the equalization of professional opportunities for women and men. Additionally, the effectiveness and methods of internal and external communication of the company on its socially responsible activities are also assessed.
“Social engagement, caring for the employees and environment are the pillars of our CSR focused around one strong core which we call The Rosti Way. Over the years Rosti Poland has proven to care by conducting many CSR activities such as creating safe and diverse working environment, supporting employees in their passion, supporting local university in education by conducting dual studies, supporting local charities by donating funds, taking actions to minimize negative impact on environment and so on and so forth. I must admit, that, although we do not expect anything in return, we are proud to have been noticed on the national arena and at the same time set as an example. Over time our vision, strategy and targets may shift, however our cultural foundation serves as the basis of the way we do business” – says Michał Lubik, Managing Director of Rosti Poland.
