Global IT Project Management Office Manager

Do you want to be a part of an exciting journey? We are now looking for Global IT Project Management Office Manager.


The position

It will be your job to provide the PMO governance structure and develop and maintain standardized procedures for handling IT & other business projects. You should prepare high quality analysis and decision making material on which the relevant leaders can make sound decisions. The role is based out of Rosti’s global head office in Malmö and you will be referring directly to the Global IT Director.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and manage standard corporate project model, tools and procedures
  • Document & govern PMO processes
  • Introduce PMO Supporting tools
  • Manage the IT Project Portfolio
  • Manage projects in the role as Project Manager
  • Manage Stakeholder Communications
  • Define and prepare status and KPI reporting
  • Lead the planning activities
  • Support & control end to end prioritization, scope & change management
  • Manage project risks & contingency
  • Manage issues & action items
  • Provide financial governance
  • Provide resource tracking and capacity planning for the project teams
  • Support the Project Managers as one point of contact for PM procedures
  • Control that procedures are followed and track project status and progress

You should demonstrate strong focus on business requirements and understanding of the complete value chain in order to set up the project teams and deliver the right solutions – always having the end user experience in mind.

You will keep stakeholders well informed and provide high level service to ensure great stakeholder/user experience.  You can expect to travel about 50% of the time, to visit the Rosti sites.


The qualifications you possess

We expect you to have a Bachelor degree in business administration or other relevant commercial education and 10+ years of work experience within IT and project management.

Prince II certification and financial background is desirable but not necessarily a prerequisite.

We also expect you to have:

  • Project Management Office experience in a similar environment
  • Project or program management experience
  • Track record of successful implementations in an international matrix setup
  • Administrative and finance skills
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
