Business Development Manager Europe

Rosti is a global plastics injection moulding company and contract manufacturer to some of the world’s leading manufacturers in the packaging, consumer appliances, business machines and medical sectors. Rosti has production facilities in Sweden, Germany, Poland, Romania, UK, North America, Turkey, China and Malaysia. Your new role:

As Business Development Manager Europe, you are responsible for driving the business in Rosti Europe and by identifying and developing new opportunities you will also track new markets and emerging trends, analyse and bring tangible results to our growth, winning new profitable business in line with Rosti strategy for European customers.
In this role you will be working out of our German office or be home based, you can expect to travel extensively across Europe.
A key success factor for this role will be your ability to work independently and part of a European team, including market research teams supporting lead development. An engineering background would be desirable however a proven sales record is a key requirement.
You will be a part of a dynamic Sales and Marketing team and report to the SVP for Sales and Marketing.

Your tasks consists of:

  • Win new profitable business in line with Rosti strategy for European customers
  • Develop key partnership relationships with design houses.
  • Target chosen customers within the Rosti strategy.
  • Develop opportunities and communicate with all relevant sites and tech teams.
  • Facilitate specific technology workshops with potential customers and partners.
  • Plan and lead the participation, pre planning, marketing and lead generation for chosen exhibitions.
  • Participating and fully supporting the global sales community collaboration forums.
  • Support the strategic marketing function in promoting the Rosti brand and capability.
  • Support the strategic development of the group.

Who are we looking for?

You will potentially have an engineering background with several years of commercial experience and a proven track record of successful business development in or a similar selling process. You have a strong strategic & analytical mindset coupled with powerful drive to succeed.
You are also persistent but also have an innate sense of timing, knowing when it’s time to walk away from poor business before others. You have an excellent track record of acting as a trusted advisor to internal and external senior stakeholders.
Moreover, you are an excellent communicator and can convey messages to a range of audiences.

You are highly proficient in both spoken and written English and German.
