Tailored Manufacturing at Global Scale: A New Standard for Medical and Pharmaceutical Production

In the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, manufacturing partners are expected to deliver far more than production capacity alone.

Today’s customers require flexibility, regulatory consistency, scalability, and the confidence that their manufacturing strategy can evolve alongside changing clinical, commercial, and geographic demands. This is where a truly global, integrated manufacturing network makes a measurable difference.

At Rosti Group, our approach is built around the ability to tailor manufacturing capabilities and volumes across a global footprint of 13 strategically located facilities. Importantly, each site is not limited to an isolated set of capabilities. Instead, our locations operate as part of a unified global network, underpinned by shared engineering expertise, aligned processes, and a standardised quality management system.

Agile Injection Moulding Footprints

This integrated model enables us to do something many plastic injection moulders cannot: relocate tooling and production between sites to meet customer requirements. Where some suppliers are constrained by having only a single capability or technology set in one location, we offer customers the freedom to adapt.

Tooling can be transferred between regions to support regulatory changes, mitigate supply-chain risk, or align production closer to key markets without compromising validation, quality, or compliance.

Medical Cleanroom Capabilities

We currently operate three cleanrooms across Asia, Europe, and North America, allowing us to support medical and pharmaceutical customers on a truly global basis. These cleanroom environments are fully integrated into our wider manufacturing network and quality systems, ensuring consistency regardless of geography.

Importantly, we continue to invest strategically to strengthen and expand our cleanroom capacity, reflecting growing demand for regulated, high-precision manufacturing close to customer markets.

Volume Flexibility – A Key Differentiator

For customers serving large global markets, this may involve producing millions of units per annum across two or more regions. In these cases, we can replicate manufacturing cells on different continents, applying the same automation strategies, tooling approaches, and quality standards. This supports resilience, scalability, and speed while maintaining confidence in repeatability and compliance.

At the same time, our global infrastructure allows us to support niche and specialist applications, such as surgical products, where volumes may be lower but complexity and precision are high. These programmes often require cleanroom manufacturing, advanced tooling, and close collaboration between engineering, quality, and production teams. Our ability to accommodate both low-volume specialist projects and high-volume global programmes is a core strength.

Customer Collaboration: From Concept Testing to Scalable Manufacturing Solutions

We actively engage with customers who may initially have smaller volumes but strong growth potential. Through early-stage engineering analysis, part optimisation, and concept testing, we help identify the most suitable tools, technologies, and manufacturing locations. This includes analysing part design to determine the best production approach and, where appropriate, testing different concepts or sites before scaling.

As programmes evolve, our facilities can be configured into tailored production spaces, supporting automation and scalable output aligned precisely to customer requirements. The result is a manufacturing partnership that evolves over time combining local capabilities with the strength of a global network.

Choose Rosti as Your Global Medical Injection Moulding Partner

In an increasingly complex and regulated landscape, the ability to unite cleanroom expertise, global reach, and tailored manufacturing is no longer optional. Rosti offers a proven model for medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers seeking resilience, scalability, and compliance.
