We are delighted to announce the launch of a Smart Beauty Device System for a global leading brand in the health and beauty market, providing innovative integrated design solutions and contract manufacturing capabilities.
The smart beauty device required connectivity using IoT functions such as Bluetooth, wireless charging, RFID, customized treatment options, live data collection, and analysis.
Rosti were awarded the contract manufacturing business, which included leading the full product design of all the mechanical, electrical & regulatory qualification, sourcing, functional validation, and mass production, significantly more than a conventional “make to print” contract.
The smart beauty device project was awarded to Rosti in 2020, and after 2 years of design and product development, there will be a global market launch in the summer of 2022.
Following the considerable investment into our Innovation Centres in China, Europe and the US, we are able to significantly shorten the development cycle using the revolution of 3D printed injection mould tools providing “concept to reality in 72 hours.”
The Innovation Centre also includes an electronic laboratory, strengthening the internal design capabilities for electromechanical functionality & validation testing which is key for product reliability and compliance with international regulations. Integration of the core design functions leads to a closed-loop process covering industrial, mechanical, electrical and software engineering which provides the DFX guidelines & capabilities to ensure a successful launch of its client’s products.
