Rosti Poland hosted a three-day Innovation Workshop with a long-standing customer in the filtration sector.
The event brought together teams from both organisations to focus on developing solutions that reduce environmental impact while creating more sustainable products for consumers worldwide.
A Shared Commitment to Sustainability
The workshop saw a number of key functions from both teams come together, combining customer departments such as purchasing, marketing, and design with Rosti’s specialists in engineering, innovation, and customer development. The aim was to explore fresh ideas, challenge existing assumptions, and co-create strategies for the next generation of filtration products, all aligned with sustainability goals and evolving consumer expectations.
Over the course of the three days, the group worked through five strategic themes designed to steer conversations and ideas.
Sustainability was at the heart of every session, with both teams considering how materials and responsible production methods could be introduced across future product lines.
Alongside this, there was a strong focus on cost optimisation, with leaner, more efficient development processes highlighted as a way to deliver both environmental and commercial benefits.
Design optimisation was key to encouraging smarter engineering approaches that place consumer needs at the core of every decision. Teams explored how to integrate functionality with simplicity, ensuring that final products would be both effective and user-friendly.
The workshop also explored potential of new decoration technologies, considering how creative, sustainable design enhancements could add value without increasing environmental impact.
Finally, participants examined innovative production techniques such as the use of foaming additives, which can reduce both CO₂ emissions and material usage.
From Ideas to Action
The sessions produced tangible insights that will shape future projects. Rosti’s Innovation Centre committed to developing tailored design concepts for upcoming product development, while both organisations worked together on detailed market and competitor analysis to better understand consumer positioning and expectations.
The workshop also generated a wide range of ideas directly tied to customer needs, supported by customer journey mapping to ensure every solution connects seamlessly with user experience.
Building the Future Collaboratively
For Rosti, the workshop is a clear example of how meaningful collaboration can create opportunities that extend far beyond a single project. By combining technical expertise, innovation capacity, and a shared vision for sustainability, both organisations are laying the foundation for long-term success.
As the partnership continues, the insights gained during this three-day event will be transformed into tangible solutions – smarter, more sustainable filtration products that reflect consumer needs while reducing environmental impact.
