Poland Hosts Sustainability Workshop in Filtration

Rosti Poland held a three-day Innovation Workshop with a long-standing customer in the filtration industry.
The event brought together teams from both organizations to focus on developing solutions that reduce environmental impact while creating more sustainable products for consumers worldwide.

Over the course of the three days, the group worked through five strategic themes designed to guide discussions and spark ideas.

In addition, there was a strong focus on cost optimization, with leaner, more efficient development processes highlighted as a way to deliver both environmental and commercial benefits.
Design optimization was essential to encouraging smarter engineering approaches that put consumer needs at the heart of every decision. Teams explored how to integrate functionality and simplicity, ensuring that finished products would be both effective and user-friendly.
The workshop also explored the potential of new decoration technologies, looking at how creative, sustainable design enhancements could add value without raising environmental impact.
Finally, participants examined innovative production techniques like using foaming additives, which can lower both CO₂ emissions and material consumption.

Rosti’s Innovation Center committed to developing customized design concepts for upcoming product development, while both organizations collaborated on detailed market and competitor analysis to better understand consumer positioning and expectations.
The workshop also produced a wide variety of ideas directly addressing customer needs, supported by customer journey mapping to make sure every solution aligns seamlessly with user experience.
