How do you identify a sustainable plastic injection molding partner?

At Rosti Group, we’re dedicated to continuously minimizing our environmental impact—examining not only our business operations, but also sustainable options in raw materials, process choices, and the products we make.
Our goal is to help customers reach their sustainability goals, as well as accomplish our own.
Collaborative Efforts Achieve Sustainability Goals
The Rosti team invests the time to fully understand your specific sustainability goals, making sure we’re meeting your requirements and also offering suggestions for how Rosti Group can exceed them.
With production facilities strategically located around the world, we can help you manufacture in—or close to—your customers’ and key markets, which reduces supply chain impacts and improves security. Our in-house Production Transfer team brings extensive experience, enabling you to shift production to Europe, Asia, or the USA.
Localizing production near your markets lowers the CO2 impact from shipping products globally, cutting logistics costs and reducing the carbon footprint of each product or part.
Design-Led Processes
With our state-of-the-art Innovation Centers and product testing capabilities, our design-first philosophy enables us to target sustainability at every stage of a product’s lifecycle.
When helping customers choose the right materials, we focus on ensuring materials meet your specifications and safety standards while carefully considering environmental impacts—during production, in use, and in recyclability at end-of-life.
The same holds true when relocating production; through our design expertise, we ensure all processes and materials are properly transferred to maintain sustainability credentials.

Recyclable & Reusable Material Selection
Sourcing recyclable and reusable materials for molding is now essential—so products and components are 100% recyclable at the end of their lifecycle.
We review and test an extensive range of materials to provide the most environmentally friendly resins and plastics. We focus on finding materials that meet strict safety and quality standards—with our own internal testing, only a small percentage make it to production. As a result, you can be confident your products are being manufactured with materials that limit environmental impact.
When sourcing materials, we apply our 6R’s of Sustainability to evaluate raw materials and maintain high sustainability standards—replacing high-CO2 and metal parts with reprocessed or renewable materials, while also considering waste reduction and recycling.

How Does Rosti Reduce and Eliminate Waste?
Thanks to our careful approach to material selection, waste is now recycled into high-quality material that can be reused in the same process, helping to optimize and reduce the use of virgin material.
We also contribute to the circular economy by recycling, repairing, and remodeling products for our customers to resell. This extends product lifespans and reduces the need for replacement and disposal of old products.
Efficient Injection Molding Capabilities
We’re committed to helping our clients adopt manufacturing processes that are increasingly environmentally friendly.
Rosti Group achieves this by investing in energy-efficient machinery and tooling, while introducing innovative processes like Rapid Heat Cycle Molding (RHCM) technology.
RHCM is a rapid hot water process that eliminates the need for additional steps in making a part or product, which reduces the energy required and lowers the carbon footprint for each item.
We’re continuously reviewing our production sites to transition to renewable energy and offset our carbon footprint through proactive efforts such as tree planting. Rosti Poland is proud to have planted over 10,000 trees in the area surrounding the site.
Virtual Tours and Audits
In recent years, we’ve developed robust and detailed Virtual Tours and audits to keep communication open with our customers for project discussions and production checks.
This approach helps reduce air travel and the related carbon emissions, while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues at other sites and with our customers.
We have the capability to offer comprehensive factory floor tours, allowing customers to interact and ask questions of engineers, giving an experience equivalent to an in-person site visit.
