Rosti and Demag join forces for innovation

Some business relationships are both longer and stronger than others. One example of an enduring partnership is between plastic injection molder Rosti China and machine manufacturer Demag Sumitomo Plastics Machinery. Demag has partnered with Rosti for over 35 years, and in the past 17 years has delivered more than 100 machines to Rosti China.

The Demag Sumitomo branded machines delivered to Rosti serve a wide range of purposes. Together, and sometimes with a third partner, the companies make sure they meet their customers’ requirements and challenges, including the increasing demand for more automated and turnkey solutions.

The latest in a line of over 100 delivered machines is a special liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection molding machine, which Rosti China is using to develop into this new industry as well as the technology. Specialized machines and equipment, along with specialist knowledge, are needed to carry out injection molding on liquids. Demag has the specialized machines, while Rosti has the specialist knowledge – the ideal combination for a successful collaboration that quickly pays off for the customer.

Being technically compatible is one thing, but sharing values and passion is another. The latter appears to be the key factor in the successful partnership between the two companies.
