We are excited to announce the launch of a Smart Beauty Device System for a global leading brand in the health and beauty market, offering innovative integrated design solutions and contract manufacturing services.
The smart beauty device required connectivity using IoT features such as Bluetooth, wireless charging, RFID, customized treatment options, and live data collection and analysis.
Rosti was awarded the contract manufacturing business, which included leading the full product design for all the mechanical, electrical, and regulatory qualifications, sourcing, functional validation, and mass production—far more than a traditional “make to print” contract.
The smart beauty device project was awarded to Rosti in 2020, and after two years of design and product development, it will launch globally in the summer of 2022.
Following significant investment in our Innovation Centers in China, Europe, and the US, we are able to greatly shorten the development cycle through the revolutionary use of 3D-printed injection mold tools, delivering “concept to reality in 72 hours.”
The Innovation Center also features an electronics laboratory, further strengthening our internal design capabilities for electromechanical functionality and validation testing, which is essential for product reliability and compliance with international regulations. Integrating the core design functions leads to a closed-loop process that covers industrial, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, which provides DFX guidelines and capabilities to ensure a successful launch for our clients’ products.
