As manufacturers across multiple sectors reassess their supply chains, the demand for a reliable UK production base continues to grow. Rising logistics costs, the need for greater agility, and increasing expectations around quality and sustainability are driving organisations to seek partners that can deliver consistently, locally, and at scale.
Based in Stamford Bridge, Yorkshire, Rosti UK supports customers with high-quality plastic injection moulding and contract manufacturing from concept through to full production.
Full contract manufacturing partner
Rosti UK works with customers across a broad range of sectors, providing the engineering expertise, manufacturing capability, and structured processes required to bring plastic components into reliable production. Its established New Product Introduction (NPI) framework offers a clear pathway from early design and prototyping through validation and manufacturability, helping customers reduce risk, accelerate time to market, and scale with confidence.
Expertise in relocating injection moulding production
A recent localisation project with Abingdon Health demonstrates how Rosti UK supports customers looking to establish or strengthen UK-based manufacturing. As part of a wider supply chain resilience strategy, production of a key plastic component was successfully transferred to Rosti’s Stamford Bridge facility, located close to Abingdon Health’s manufacturing operations in York. This proximity enables faster communication, shorter lead times, and reduced exposure to supply chain disruption.
From initial discussions to full production, the transfer was completed in just six months. This speed was driven by close collaboration between both teams and Rosti’s structured NPI process. Early in the programme, Rosti delivered rapid prototypes within 72 hours, allowing the design to be tested, refined, and de-risked before moving into production tooling.
During validation, Rosti’s engineering teams optimised the component for manufacturability, improving efficiency and consistency while maintaining the required performance.
The project was underpinned by Rosti UK’s recently awarded ISO 13485 accreditation, reflecting the strength of its quality systems, process control, and disciplined approach to manufacturing. While this accreditation supports customers operating in regulated environments such as medical and healthcare, the same standards and attention to detail benefit customers across all sectors.
Rosti UK – helping you achieve your sustainability goals
Sustainability is also a growing consideration for organisations selecting a manufacturing partner. Through intelligent design optimisation, Rosti UK reduced part weight and improved material utilisation, supporting both environmental objectives and long-term cost efficiency without compromising product integrity.
“This project highlights our ability to take products from concept to stable, high-quality production,” said Jacek Lubowicki, Managing Director, Rosti UK. “With strong engineering capability, rapid prototyping, localised manufacturing, and the recent award of ISO 13485 accreditation, we are well positioned to support a wide range of customers, including those operating in highly regulated sectors, from our UK manufacturing base.”
