Rosti GP in Gislaved to Build New Production Facility Focused on Sustainability

New factory in Gislaved, Sweden will be ready in September 2026.

Energy-Efficient Technology and Renewable Energy

Rosti GP AB has signed a new lease agreement with Nivika Fastigheter AB for the construction of a new production facility in Gislaved. The agreement covers a property that includes production, warehouse, and office spaces totaling just over 14,000 m², with the potential to expand to 19,000 m².

In line with Rosti’s sustainability strategy, the building and its operations will feature energy-efficient technology and will use only renewable energy. The building is prepped for solar panels, and an environmental building certification is being considered for the future. Groundwork has started, and move-in is scheduled for September 2026.

“The facility in Gislaved, originally established in 1966, has been a central part of Rosti’s operations for many years, and this expansion is an important milestone for the entire group. This agreement confirms our customer-focused strategy and will strengthen our relationships while creating new opportunities for growth. We look forward to seeing the new purpose-built facility come together,” says Magnus Hettne, Managing Director of Rosti Sweden.

“Being trusted to build a new facility in Gislaved for a global organization with a strong local presence underscores Nivika’s solid market position and capacity. By constructing a property that is both sustainable and functional, Rosti gets the foundation needed to continue developing its operations,” says Sverker Källgården, CEO of Nivika.
