Rosti Romania secures new medical device contract for new manufacturing facility

Following the opening of Rosti Romania’s new manufacturing facility, we are pleased to announce the awarding of a new business transfer with a Life Science customer to produce an amniotomy medical device.

Customers were facing challenges with the quality of drawings. However, with the support of the Rosti Innovation Center and our innovative engineering and Design for Manufacture capabilities, Rosti performed reverse engineered 3D scans and reviewed existing 2D drawings to identify improvements.

Based on the findings, Rosti then created 3D files and 2D drawings of the medical device that were sent to the customer for approval before moving forward.  This ensured that the device was ready for production and met the customer’s requirements and design specifications.

At Rosti Romania, the customer will also have a dedicated production area for the amniotomy medical device which meets the customer’s specifications in combination with ISO 13485 accreditation.
