Rosti Sweden Receives ISCC Plus Certification

Rosti Sweden

Our plastic injection molding facility in Gislaved, Sweden, has recently been awarded ISCC Plus Certification, allowing us to handle and process recyclable and renewable materials suitable for food packaging applications.

Gislaved is the latest Rosti facility to receive the certification, allowing us to work more closely with customers who are mindful of the CO2 impact of their products and want full transparency regarding the CO2 impact across the entire supply chain.

These new mass balanced materials (a combination of virgin and recycled material) are helping to further reduce the CO2 footprint of the products compared to traditional materials.

We currently produce caps and closures, cans for oral tobacco, dispensing systems, as well as other types of food packaging in Sweden.

Rosti Sweden has aligned its processes to meet the ISCC Certification requirements to ensure full traceability of materials from source to end consumer.

This is an important step, as our customers are increasingly seeking ways to become more environmentally friendly as a result of their customers wanting to buy from sustainable brands.

We are pleased to be able to help food packaging customers reduce the CO2 impact of their products as we move toward a circular economy.
