Rosti Group are pleased to announce that Rosti Sweden has received approval to build a new purpose-built facility, set to start construction in early 2025.
The new site will be located just 2 km from their current facility in Gislaved and will span 14,000 sqm, with potential for expansion to 19,000 sqm.
Tailored to include medical production, the facility will specialise in plastic injection molding, multi-shot molding, digital printing decoration, assembly, and full automation.
“Originally established in 1966, the Gislaved site has been a core part of the Rosti business for many years and this expansion is a huge milestone for the whole group,” says Magnus Hettne, Rosti Sweden Managing Director. “This agreement is validation of our customer-centric approach and will strengthen our relationships along with opening new opportunities for growth. We are excited to watch the new purpose-built facility come to life during 2025.”
Aligned with Rosti Group’s global sustainability initiatives, the new Sweden site will focus on energy-efficient technologies and the building will feature full sprinkler coverage and a streamlined layout to ensure optimal operations.
“Our sustainability efforts are a top priority at every site, and Gislaved is no exception,” added Magnus Hettne. “By implementing energy-efficient practices, using 100% renewable energy and utilizing local resources, we are reducing our environmental impact while delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to our customers.”
The site is due for completion at the end of 2026.
