Rosti UK successfully certified against BRCGS Packaging Material Issue 6

Rosti UK is thrilled to have achieved an AA grade for the second year in a row, following a two-day audit of the production facility in Stamford Bridge, York.

BRCGS Packaging Material Issue 6 provides a framework for all types of food packaging to help ensure the production of safe packaging materials, manage product quality to meet customer expectations, and maintain legal compliance.

As one of the leading suppliers to the brewery industry in the UK and Ireland, it’s essential that our processes and production facilities meet the highest possible quality standards.

The auditor who visited the site was very complimentary about the site’s cleanliness and housekeeping standards, as well as commenting on the employees’ culture, engagement, positive energy, and passion.

He went on to say, “The level of controls in place is above average across all stages of the manufacturing process, from raw material controls and manufacturing procedures to transportation, quality controls, and maintenance activities. This couldn’t be achieved without all departments working together as a multidisciplinary team and with great engagement at every level within the plant.
