Rosti Poland plants come together

Fusion-Rosti-Poland

Rosti Poland recently relocated its Elewatorska plant to join the Group’s existing facility in Mysliwska, creating one of the largest plastic injection molding facilities in Europe. Rosti Poland was established in 1999 in Elewatorska, Bialystok – the largest city in northeastern Poland. In 2015, the Group acquired Bianor Solutions, an injection molding and solution provider to major OEMs, located on the other side of the city in Mysliwska.

Due to rapid growth in the Group’s expanded operations in Poland, plans to integrate the two facilities moved forward with the construction of a new 14,000m2 production hall, completed in January 2017.

The relocation took eight months and was finished in July 2017. “From January 2017 to July, 450 people, 33 machines, 180 tools, and 33 assembly lines were moved. This was done with care and precision, without any health and safety incidents or impacting our customers,” said Rafal Cybulski, Managing Director of Rosti Poland. On July 16th, the 1,300 employees of the newly expanded facility celebrated the successful merging of the two plants with a grand feast.

The new hall features a 14-meter high semi-automated storage warehouse, assembly hall, quality laboratory, and tampo print room. Combined with the existing facility, Rosti Poland now offers customers a 30,000m2 state-of-the-art facility with more than 150 injection molding machines with a clamping force range of 25T-1300T, and a logistics center with storage for more than 18,000 pallets.

“The merging of the two facilities enables us to provide our customers with global manufacturing and distribution for a leaner supply chain and shorter lead times to market, giving them and us a competitive advantage,” concludes Rafal Cybulski.
