Following the opening of Rosti Romania’s new manufacturing facility, we are delighted to announce the award of a new business transfer with a Life Science customer to produce an amniotomy medical device.
Customers were facing challenges when it came to the level of quality of drawings. However, with the support of the Rosti Innovation Centre along with our innovative engineering and Design for Manufacture capabilities, Rosti made reverse engineered 3D scans and reviewed existing 2D drawings to identify improvements.
Based on the findings Rosti then created 3D files and 2D drawings of the medical device that were sent to the customer for approval before proceeding. This ensured that the device was fit to for production and met the customer requirements and design specifications.
At Rosti Romania, the customer will also have a dedicated production area for the amniotomy medical device which meets the customers specification in combination with ISO 13485 accreditation.
