Rosti Group Names Melvin Tan as Vice President of Sales, Asia

Rosti Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Beng Chong Tan, known as Melvin, as Vice President of Sales Asia, effective May 4, 2026. Melvin will be based in Singapore and will report to Pat Williams, Senior Vice President Asia.

Extensive International Sales Leadership

Melvin brings over 30 years of international sales leadership experience in contract manufacturing. His background includes plastic injection molding, die casting, PCBA, and box build assembly, as well as a solid understanding of how internationally headquartered OEMs approach outsourcing and long-term supplier partnerships. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
A key part of Melvin’s career includes nearly twenty years working in the United States, giving him in-depth insight into the expectations of premium global customers in the technology, life sciences, industrial, and consumer sectors. This international perspective continues to influence his approach to building strong customer relationships and high-performing commercial organizations.

Leadership Role and Regional Responsibility

In his new role, Melvin will lead a reorganized regional sales function across Asia. He will be responsible for driving new customer development and strengthening overall commercial execution in line with Rosti Group’s growth strategy.
