Rosti Group Appoints Melvin Tan as Vice President Sales Asia

Rosti Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Beng Chong Tan, known as Melvin, as Vice President Sales Asia, effective 4 May 2026. Melvin will be based in Singapore and will report to Pat Williams, Senior Vice President Asia.

Extensive International Sales Leadership

Melvin brings more than 30 years of international sales leadership experience within contract manufacturing. His background includes plastic injection moulding, die casting, PCBA and box build assembly, along with a strong understanding of how internationally headquartered OEMs approach outsourcing and long term supplier partnerships. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
A key part of Melvin’s career includes nearly two decades working in the United States, providing him with deep insight into the expectations of premium global customers across technology, life sciences, industrial and consumer segments. This international perspective continues to shape his approach to building strong customer relationships and high performing commercial organisations.

Leadership Role and Regional Responsibility

In his new role, Melvin will lead a reorganised regional sales function across Asia. He will be responsible for driving new customer development and strengthening the overall commercial execution in line with Rosti Group’s growth strategy.
